A Fractional CTO (Chief Technology Officer) is a part-time executive who provides strategic technical leadership and guidance to your company without being a full-time employee. There are two main categories, and it's important to choose based on your current needs:

Hands-On Fractional CTO (The Coder)

Strategic Fractional CTO (True CTO Guidance)

  • Focus: High-level technical strategy, architecture design, team leadership, and long-term planning—NOT hands-on coding.

  • Skills Emphasis: System design, team building, technical roadmapping, vendor management, and executive communication.
